1. About SmallWorks
SmallWorks is a platform that connects small charities with support providers. By using SmallWorks, you agree to these terms of service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
2. Who can use SmallWorks
SmallWorks is open to:
- Registered charities and community organisations looking for support
- Voluntary and community organisations
- Non-profit organisations and small start-up non-profits
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Social enterprises with a social purpose
- Organisations, companies, consultants, and individuals who want to offer support to any of the above
By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of your organisation.
3. For charities
- Submitting a support request is free of charge
- You agree to provide accurate information about your charity and your support needs
- SmallWorks will use your request to match you with relevant providers but cannot guarantee a match in every case
- SmallWorks is not responsible for the quality or outcome of support provided by matched providers
- Any agreement or arrangement made between a charity and a provider is between those two parties
4. For support providers
- Creating a provider profile is free of charge
- You agree to provide accurate information about the support you can offer
- Your profile will be visible to charities using the platform
- You are not obligated to respond to every match or contact request
- SmallWorks reserves the right to remove profiles that contain inaccurate or misleading information
- You must not use SmallWorks to promote services in a way that is misleading or harmful to charities
5. Platform rules
All users of SmallWorks agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform for commercial gain at the expense of charities
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to misuse or disrupt the platform
- Share another user's personal information without their consent
6. Our role
SmallWorks acts as a connector between charities and support providers. We are not a party to any arrangement made between users. We do not provide support services directly and are not liable for the actions or advice of any provider listed on the platform.
7. Limitation of liability
SmallWorks provides the platform on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available or error-free. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform or from any support arrangement made through it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes are made means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
